Junior Gardener

We have an immediate vacancy for a junior gardener to join their team 2-3 days per week on a private estate in North London. The property has extensive grounds comprising lawns, shrubs, formal and informal flower beds with young and mature woodland areas interspersed with designated recreational areas.
This is a live out position for a gardener who shares a passion for gardening with a wealth of horticultural knowledge and experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Weekly lawn mowing in
- Fertilisation
- scarifying and annual aeration of lawns
- Hedge trimming
- Seasonal pruning, weeding & planting
- General garden upkeep & clearance including recreational areas & paths
- Ensuring the front entrance to the property is clean & tidy on a daily basisÂ
- Maintaining various water features & irrigation systems on a weekly basis
- Carrying out repairs & adjustments to water features as required
- Ensuring garden furniture & equipment is cleaned & maintained on a weekly basis
- Sweeping of tennis court on weekly basis
- Checking garden lighting weekly and arranging servicing maintenance

The candidate must have a minimum of 3 yearsâ?? experience, preferably certificate in horticulture, spraying certificate, be fit, healthy, well organised and capable of working mostly unsupervised using their own initiative, reliable, honest, trustworthy and discreet with excellent communication skills and impeccable references.
