Assistant to the Head of Aftercare & Training

This is a unique role assisting The Head of Aftercare and Training who seeks a number 2 to work alongside him to at as both a P/A and also to help develop the team and training academy. You must come from a Maintenance background and be able to jump in and take a van out to maintenance jobs to cover sickness and busy periods.Â
You would help to plan the syllabus, time tables and generally support the Head of Aftercare and Training in all aspects of his role.Â

Key Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- At least 5 yearsâ?? experience in aftercare. With 3 of those in a team leader/foreman role.
- Full clean driving license (previous van driving experience essential).
- Excellent working knowledge of plants, their requirements and ability to recognise disorders and treat problems.
- A basic knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Ability to use a range of small machinery.
- Great customer service skills.
- Staff management skills.
- Training experience.
- Ability to listen and effectively communicate between clients, staff and managers.Â
- Qualified to at least Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. RHS. National Diploma etc.)
