Sport Turf Technician

 

Due to continued expansion, our Client is recruiting for a Sports Turf Technician to work within their grounds maintenance team marking out and maintaining sports fields across Hertfordshire, north London and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities

â?¨

  • Setting out
  • Mowing
  • Aeration
  • Scarification
  • Application of fertiliser and top-dressing
  • Line marking for various  pitches as required
  • Ensure line machine is clean and in good working order
  • working effectively as part of a small team marking out and maintaining sports fields 
  • ensuring quality standards are consistently upheld;
  • following health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines;
  • Complete administration correctly and submit paperwork on time.

 

Person Specification

  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Practical experience of sports ground maintenance
  • Practical experience of line marking and setting out
  • Experience in using a broad range of horticultural machinery and equipment
  • Follow H&S practices
  • Hours of work: 0700am â?? 1700pm: Monday â?? Friday

Plus 2x Saturdays/month â?? paid extra

 

Due to the location of the Office you will require your own transportation
