Our client provide grounds maintenance, winter gritting and snow clearance, tree surgery, interior and exterior plant displays, as well as a design and build service to clients from within the Private and Public sectors.

They are looking for Interiors Contract Manager to join their team in London and the Home Counties. 

Aim of Role:

To proactively manage your operations team to enable the effective running of a portfolio of client contracts to fulfil the clientâ??s requirements within agreed financial parameters.  The contract manager is required to develop and grow the business and their team as well as leading health and safety.  Working as part of a regional team the role also requires effective and cooperative working with your regional colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To build strong relationships with new clients and stakeholders, demonstrating that we understand their business needs and help developing proposals.

·        Maintain and develop existing relationships with clients.

  • Able to pick up and understand Nurture Groupâ??s business offering, the competition in our industry and our positioning in the marketplace.

·        Work on own initiative and is proficient in effective problem solving as and when required.

·        Ensure contracts are installed/fulfilled as written with any changes documented.

·        Manage necessary paperwork such as, job folders, work orders, accident reports, and others as needed.

·        To manage and motivate your team ensuring consistently good levels of attendance and quality and quantity of output.

·        Effectively manage, recruit, and promote the right people and to identify the development needs of your team through regular meetings and appraisals

·        Responsible for completing the TMS HR system to ensure all timesheets are completed in a timely manner

·        Participate in self-development via appraisal outcomes and other methods of feedback.

·        Participation in other business projects.

Health, Safety and Hygiene

·        Follow correct working practices in use of equipment and materials and adopt safe working practices to safeguard the safety of others as well as oneself.

·        Ensure all health & safety training is completed by your team in line with the company training calendar.

·        Wear correct PPE at all times, adhering to the company standard as set out in the Employee Handbook 

·        Report all Near Misses and/or accidents to your line management

·        Always maintain a high degree of security, if you are a key holder, whilst working you will be expected to follow correct access procedures to buildings and not infringe any data protection regulations.

Training

·        Attend Company/Site induction.

·        Attend individual and team, monthly training as directed

·     Continuous personal development opportunities to be taken where possible

 

Experience

·        Horticultural knowledge desirable

·        Minimum of 5 yearsâ?? experience and a highly effective and proven customer service

·        Minimum of 3 yearsâ?? experience of working in contracting or maintenance sectors

 

Key skills and attributes:

·        Outstanding communication skills

·        Proficient with Microsoft office 365 â?? Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams etc

·        Excellent organisational skills

·        Commercially astute

·        Resilient and proactive

·        Keep up to date on latest trends within the Plant Display industry

·        Full clean driving license - Confident driving in and around London
