Our midlands based client is an award-winning national landscape construction and maintenance business providing the highest levels of service to help you realise the full creative possibilities of modern landscaping.They are seeking LANDSCAPE OPERATIVES to join their team in Kettering and surrounding areas.

Purpose of Job
To carry out operations directed by the Foreperson or any other person responsible for the running of the contract.


Main Tasks

  • To ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety Regulations, Q/A Systems and other procedures required by the company.
  • Ensure at all times that Personal Protective Equipment is worn as instructed and is in good working order. Ensure at all times that your Foreman is aware of any shortfall in Personal Protective Equipment. If no action is taken you must report to your Manager / Supervisor or the Systems Administrator.
  • Ensure that any plant or machinery you are instructed to use is serviced and daily checks are carried out.
  • Ensure that you support your Foreman at all times to achieve the correct completion days programmed into the contract.
  • Ensure operations carried out are the highest standard possible.
  • Ensure all tools in your possession are maintained and kept securely.
  • Carry out all landscape duties as required by the company including planting of trees and shrubs, turfing and seeding and site preparation in accordance with good company practice.
  • To be courteous at all times to the Client on site or any of their representatives.
  • To carry out other landscape duties as required by the company.
