Invasive Weed Technician

Our client specialised in Invasive Weed removal and they work primarily the Southeast and London.

 

The successful candidate will be required to provide herbicide treatments, conduct surveys, and physically remove invasive weeds at residential, commercial, and development sites. 

 

While training can be provided, the ideal candidate for the role would have experience working independently, as part of a team, and in a supervisory capacity. 

 

You would be employed as a remote worker, starting and finishing your work at home. A van will be provided for work use only. You must be fully conversant and able to use smartphones and common software applications for collecting and recording data.

 

The following are the key types of work that you will be expected to undertake:

  •  Invasive Weed treatment and removal as required.
  • General labouring to assist with Invasive weed removal as required.
  • Root barrier installs as required.
  • Invasive Weed Surveys and Inspections
  • Invasive Weed Report Preparation

WORKING HOURS:

The core working hours are 40 hours per week (full-time) but can be arranged to suit both the employee and the company by agreement. Part-time work, 2-4 full days per week, may be agreeable.

 

Training Requirements:

 

  • PA1 & PA6 â?? Essential
  • Full driving licence - Essential
  • PCA Technicians (Japanese knotweed) â?? training can be provided
  • CSCS & associated H&S courses as required - training can be provided
  • Basic First Aid - training can be provided

 

Applicants must be over 25 for van insurance purposes.
