Site Manager - Landscape Construction

Description

The Site Manager plays a critical role in delivering our clients high-quality landscape construction projects. This position requires leadership, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to Health and Safety standards. Working closely with the Construction Manager, the Site Manager ensures landscape projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of landscaping projects, ensuring alignment with contract specifications and drawings.
  • Document recording, site correspondence and general site administration.
  • Coordinate and oversee site operations, including resource allocation and progress monitoring.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations and industry standards, including ISO, CHAS, and Constructionline requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors and verify compliance with project standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing challenges and fostering collaboration.
  • Monitor costs and maintain financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Requirements

  • SMSTS certification and CSCS card (highly desirable).
  • Proven experience delivering hard and soft landscaping projects to high standards.
  • Strong leadership and decision making skills with a focus on team motivation.
  • In depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety at Work regulations.
  • Ability to interpret and work from detailed plans and specifications.
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Additional Details:

Salary:

£38,000 to £43,000 per annum DOE

Hours:

8am to 4.30pm 5 days per week Monday to Friday (with overtime/weekend work available.)
