Junior Horticulturalist

Our client designs, builds and maintains gardens to the highest of standards. They have had gardens featured in many magazines and television programs since 2005, winning industry awards for their service.
They are looking for a Junior Horticulturalist with a passion for plants, ideally based in the West London area to work on high end properties in SW & NW London, West London and surrounding.
Our clients maintenance teams are highly trained and qualified in all aspect of garden care and horticulture, they will offer training where required. They deal with the care and feeding of plants, all elements from lawn care, such as scarification, aeration and feeding programmes, to the maintenance of existing irrigation systems, the cleaning of channel drains, changing of light bulbs and general light maintenance.
Responsibilities
- All general maintenance including: mowing
- Strimming
- Weeding
- Mulching
- Seasonal Planting
- Pruning
- Watering
- Hedge cutting
- Leaf blowing
- Any ad hoc duties as required
- Assisting with Soft Landscape Installations
- Assisting with Turf Laying
Person Specification
- Previous horticultural experience highly desirable
- PA1 PA6 desirable
- Hort qualified
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Well presented
Salary dependent on experience, if you have a driving license you may also command a higher starting salary.
