Estate Gardener - Live-in

Our client has a private 3 acre estate in the East Sussex area. 

They are looking for an All-round gardener for the grounds which include lawns, hedges, shrub, herbaceous and rose beds including a small walled garden. 

Duties include:-

  • To be familiar with sprays, fertilizers, cuttings etc. 
  • Have the ability to handle a chain saw and mini-digger an advantage as would possessing basic handyman and mechanical skills. 
  • Responsible for looking after security, heating system and swimming pool. 
  • Working co-operatively with two estate/farm workers who help in the garden. 

The ideal candidate will require a full clean drivers licence and a relevant horticultural qualification.

One-bedroom flat, free heating and possibly a Land Rover go with the job as does the opportunity for promotion to Estate Manager for the right candidate.
