Our client is looking for passionate and motivated Grounds Maintenance Supervisors to join a new maintenance department.
The maintenance teams will be working on some of the largest and most prestigious sites across London.
Key Accountabilities
â?¢ Maintaining landscapes to the expected high standard.
â?¢ Ability to communicate effectively with clients, operations teams and designers.
â?¢ Carrying out seasonal required tasks and activities.
â?¢ Operating and maintaining water irrigation systems.
â?¢ Installing spring, summer and winter bedding arrangements.
â?¢ Experience in operating and maintaining horticultural tools and machinery
You must be experienced in leading site personnel and have the skills and knowledge to liaise with Managers â?¢ Sub-Contractors â?¢ Material suppliers â?¢ Design teams
Required Qualifications Knowledge / Technical:
â?¢ Formal horticultural qualifications and PA1/PA6 spraying certificates are advantageous.
â?¢ Proven horticultural knowledge and best horticultural practice.
â?¢ Professional qualification - desirable.
â?¢ CSCS card â?? desirable.
â?¢ Clean driving license - essential.

â?¢ Strong people engagement and communication skills.
â?¢ Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Previous Experience:
â?¢ 2 years+ experience in the following; pruning, pest and disease control, planting, irrigation, turf care, use of horticultural machinery.
â?¢ Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental issues relevant to the project environment.
â?¢ Sufficient experience required working within the construction industry.
