Our client is an established gardening company, specialising in garden maintenance. Providing services to high-end clients throughout West, South East and South West London.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The successful candidate will initially work alongside the owner so the clients and their gardens can be introduced and to ensure expectations and preferences are understood. They will then gradually take responsibility for the maintenance of a select number of the gardens. The owner of the company will provide practical and logistic support, whilst developing the company. The role involves tending between 2-4 gardens per day. Some commercial properties such as restaurants, but mainly working for domestic clients. There will be some installation projects and small landscaping jobs but the vast majority of work is high end garden maintenance. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is looking for a personable, self-directed candidate who can successfully manage their own work alongside that of a small team, reporting directly to the owner. They will need to take pride in their work, have a genuine interest in and knowledge of horticulture, an eye for detail, the ability to walk into a garden and know exactly what needs to be done and provide a quality service.

IDEALLY 3 YEARS PLUS PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS RHS LEVEL 2 OR TIME SERVED EXPERIENCE
ETHUSIASTIC WITH A GENUINE INTEREST IN HORTICULTURE 

ABILITY TO MANAGE OTHERS
POLITE AND WELL PRESENTED
GOOD WORK ETHIC
TAKE INSTRUCTION WELL
TIME MANAGE EFFICIENTLY

UK DRIVERS LICENSE 

HOURS: 8:30 - 4:30pm, 5 days a week (Within reason longer hours maybe required during peak seasons)
