Head Gardener

Our client is looking for a Head Gardener for their Oxfordshire Estate, ideally they are looking for a couple who would be happy to live on the Estate â?? The position is for the Head Gardener only.  The gardens are made up of both formal and informal areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lawn care and maintenance
  • Ground preparation
  • Seasonal planting including tubs and planters
  • Glass house and seed growing
  • Hedge cutting
  • Pond maintenance
  • Maintenance of hedges and shrubberies
  • Pond Maintenance
  • Keeping grounds clear of debris and paths clear

Personal Specification

  • Well presented
  • Self-motivated
  • Can use and maintain hand tools
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • PA1/PA6

The accommodation comprises of a 2 bed cottage with all white goods supplied,  bills paid apart from TV licence and internet
