You will be employed to work to the Contract Specifications in a professional and productive manner, exceeding expectations of customers and manager. 

The sucessful candidate will require a driving license and be confortable driving a van around Central London. You will need good clear verbal and written English, experience on the tools, proven skills in managing staff; budgets and forward planning work. You must be customer focussed,used to working to deadlines, proactive. 

You will also require a good knowledge of London and IT skills, including word and excel.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer

Customer Care:

  • To create a positive impression with our clients customers, understand what is important to them, and work to exceed their expectations, presenting a polite and responsible attitude at all times.

Customer Contact:

  • To communicate with customers politely and professionally and accurately report customer comments to managers. To develop a partnership-style working relationship with your clients, which is both non-adversarial and effective.

Company Promotion:

  • To understand what services our company can offer, promote the company wherever possible and feed back potential leads from sites, and local press.

Corporate Image:

  • To wear the correct corporate clothing and ensure vehicles and machinery are professionally presented and that sites are kept clean and tidy.

Financial

Cost Control:

  • To manage resources effectively, working to minimise costs and maximise efficiencies.

Care of Machinery:

  • To identify and use the most appropriate plant, machinery and equipment for relevant tasks and to ensure that regular routine maintenance and daily checks are undertaken, keeping accurate and detailed records.Where problems occur to record all relevant information and liaise effectively with the Workshop Fitter in order that any faults can be quickly and efficiently rectified.

Productivity:

  • To utilise best, most economic and effective work practices.To take responsibility as part of the team for delivering a quality service.To demonstrate initiative by identifying improvements to work practices which may result in increased productivity.

Security:

  • To show a rigorous concern for the security of company buildings, vehicles, machinery and materials.
