Contracts Manager

Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager sought to oversee the delivery of (multiple) landscape construction projects. Contract values range from £5k - £1m.  overseeing directly employed works teams and some sub-contractors. Works will be predominantly soft landscaping, however some experience of hard landscaping would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for high profile contracts ensuring work is carried out to the specified standards
  • Co-ordinating labour, equipment and materials to ensure efficient productivity levels are achieved
  • Responsibility for cost management, ensuring works are delivered on time and to budget
  • Carrying out site visits and liaising Senior Contracts Manager,  site agents, and clients
  • Ability to interpret architects drawings and be able to set out working areas for operational teams
  • Ensuring motivation and discipline is maintained with the teams
  • Ensuring the Companyâ??s Health and Safety policies are rigorously adhered to
  • Accurate completion of required documentation in line with the Company procedures

Person Specification

  • Previous management / senior supervisor background
  • Driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, management and all other members of staff
  • Flexibility in approach to working hours â?? may be required to start early or work later in line with the operational needs of the business

Salary

  • Dependant on qualifications and experience. + Package
