Part-time gardener to join a fast-growing gardening company

We are a young but well-established gardening company with a number of high-profile restaurant clients that require maintenance on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Weâ??re looking for people with a passion for plants that can develop strong client relationships. We offer competitive hourly rates, full support, training and good opportunities for development.

Each job will require 2-4 hours, once a week or once a fortnight. Shifts normally start at 7am and therefore it is usually possible to fit visits around other commitments. Note, we will arrange accompanied visits regularly to give gardeners support and monitor work quality.

Hourly rates start at £15 and rise to £20 for experienced candidates. A call-out fee will also be paid for each visit. In addition, we offer regular bonuses when plants are maintained to a high standard.

Key requirements:

• Good horticultural knowledge and a recognised qualification
• Knowledge of interior plants is essential
• 2 years practical experience minimum
• Excellent communication skills (fluent in English)
• Pro-active and willing to keep the team informed about progress after each visit
• Well-presented and professional appearance
• Good work ethic â?? happy to work in all weather conditions and physically fit
• Clean driving license / own transport preferable
