Hard and Soft Landscape Foreman

Our client is a landscape design company dedicated to the transformation of outside spaces, large and small. As well as designing private gardens, they work in the commercial sector transforming under-used or unattractive outside areas. They also help hoteliers and restaurateurs improve business through the creation of outside dining and leisure areas with impact and a sense of place. They are now looking for a Hard and Soft Landscape Foreman.

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out and manage day to day construction works
  • Manage day to day running of the site and assistant
  • Work with project manager to ensure the smooth organisation of materials and timely completion of site
  • Liaise with Principle Contractor in weekly meetings
  • Ensure H&S is implemented and adhered to

 

Person Specification

  • Experience in working off plans
  • Full clean driving licence
  • To be skilled in stone work and stone construction â?? paving, cladding
  • To be skilled in garden timber work â?? decking, trellising and fencing
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Some experience in soft landscaping â?? turfing, planting and general plant knowledge
  • To be highly organised and efficient time management
  • Experience in managing an assistant and maintaining top end gardens
  • Team player with a willingness and ability to work alone
  • Excellent communication and people skills
