Experienced Gardener

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced, self-motivated, Maintenance Gardener to work both independently and lead a busy team of two operatives travelling throughout Central and West London to ensure the delivery of a high-end service maintaining domestic gardens. Potential for promotion. 

 

Responsibilities

  • All general maintenance including: mowing
  • Strimming
  • Weeding
  • Mulching
  • Planting
  • Pruning
  • Watering
  • Hedge cutting
  • Leaf blowing
  • Spraying
  • Any ad hoc duties as required

 

Person Specification

  • Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 2 yearsâ?? experience in a similar role or a minimum of three yearsâ?? experience as a maintenance operative
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), people and team-building skills
  • Extensive plant knowledge, be passionate about gardens and be confident in talking through garden maintenance needs and schedules with clients
  • Be dedicated and hard working with the ability to work on their own initiative and work in a team
  • Be able to meet tight deadlines, set their own schedule and manage their own work load
  • Excellent eye for detail and be very organised
  • Hold a current driving license

 

Hours of work: 08.00 - 17.30 with 1 hour off during the day.
